The primary aim of The Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Data Management Core within KUTTAM is to manage and process multi-omic and clinical data for a multitude of diseases, providing insights through bespoke data analytics. The group will also focus on developing novel methodology and software to solve issues where current analysis techniques have been proven to be limited. Ultimately, we aim for this core research facility to translate data into clinical benefits for patients and the public. Current Services include RNA-Seq / WGS / ATAC-Seq data QC and Analysis, and also Metabolomics data analysis. The Core provides biostatistical consulting to the clinical researches in these fields; Study design, Data management, Sample size/power calculation, Statistical analysis plan, Biostatistical analysis and interpretation, Reporting, tabling. The Core also organize “Interactive, computer-based, basic and advanced Biostatistics Courses” for researchers.
