KUTTAM NANO -SCALE TECHNOLOGY AND PROTOTYPE INFORMATION GUIDE

It is important to correctly acknowledge that KUTTAM infrastructure is used in your work. We expect you to express it in your publications, presentations and posters.

  • 3D Prototype Laboratory serves every weekday.
  • HP 3D printer and 3D metal printer applications are carried out by the laboratory manager by appointment.
  •  Applications in the laboratory are carried out for a fee.
  • It is not possible to use the systems without a reservation.
  • Institutional (KU) users can make bookings via “labagenda” (labagenda.com) calendar after user information is defined. In order for the correct system to be reserved at the time of booking, the intended use must be written in the appropriate area of the calendar.
  • Reservations must be approved by core facility managers.
  • Non-institutional (non-KU) users are required to request an appointment by filling in the “non-institutional service request form” and submit.
  • Users must request a reservation at least one week prior to the request for use.
  • A reservation can be made through the system only for three following weeks.
  • In case of cancellation of reservation, two days notice must be given at the latest.
  • When you want to make an emergency reservation, it is necessary to reach the authorities mentioned in this document by e-mail.
  • It is necessary to be at the center 15 minutes prior to reservation time.
  • In the event of a final cancellation or unannounced approach, the investigator will be alerted and restricted access may be applied in case of repetition.
  • Institutional and non-institutional pricing are given in the table below.

  1. Providing knowledge to lead a detailed investigation of applications that do and do not benefit from miniaturization,
  2. Guiding them on the current and emerging 3D printing technologies for a variety of medical uses including microfluidic chip fabrication and prototyping for various clinical applications such as implants, scaffolds, etc.
  3. Providing consultation on the advantages and limitations of each 3D printing technology,
  4. Providing 3D prototyping service including design and post-processing such as characterization of their platform.
